How to Be Good At Presentation In Front Of The Class

In this occasion, I would like to share about how to make a good presentation in front of your classmates. I’ve thought that these tips would be very useful in order to get a good result on presentation assignment. Usually some teachers teach their student in several ways of learning, one of them is by presentation. Presentation is like telling our material or ideas to another person or public so they will understand what we already told to them before. It is very important to us as a good student to strongly understand about how to act, speak and do the presentation well, so we can get a good point from that presentation. Presentation is has same meaning with public speaking. So, we can use the basic skills of public speaking in learning how to be good at presentation in front of the class. Well guys, here are the simple tips and trick on how to make a good presentation in front of your classmates! Check this one out!

1  )      Prepared your material well enough and dominate it!

Firstly the most important thing in order to have a good presentation in front of the class is by preparing the presentation’s materials. What topic that I have to talk about? What materials should I discuss about? You can make it in Ms. Power Point or another presentation programs. Or even you can write down only some point of your materials in note book or in a sheet of paper. Sometimes our teacher gives us a material than we have to find out by ourselves. You can find the materials easily in the internet or some books in library. For making a good materials I recommend you to mix at least one or two same materials from different sources and arrange it by your own words so you can understand the material faster. Dominate your materials until you are really good on those materials! I mean every single words, sentence, and statements on those materials are really easy to speak by you. Collect the whole information about what you have to speak about and then think about what the questions might be asked by your classmates regarding to your materials. It will really help you when some of your friends ask a question about your presentation! So, prepared your material first!

2 )      Make your material easy to understand but it clear and complete!

Don’t make a lot of text of your materials. Make it simple but clear! Lot of text of your material will make the audience bored and they will ignore your presentation. The simple, clear and complete presentation will make your audience faster to understand your presentation and it will make them feel enjoy with the presentation! If you make your presentation by using Ms. Power Point add some attractive pictures on it. I’ve read in article that human being would be catch and understand the information quickly if the information is complete by the pictures (Non-Visual Information). So, it will be better if you add some pictures on your persentation!

3 )      Use the conjunction words in every single sentence you have to talk!

When you are on the stage, make sure you have that stage. After you’ve finished talking some sentence, use the conjunction words to continue your presentation in to another new sentence of your materials. The conjunction will make you easier to dominate your materials. When you are forgetting some materials on your presentation, you can remember the conjunction before the sentence you’ve forgotten before.

4 )      Don’t to hurry, dominate the stage and have a whole control of your audience!

Presenting some materials isn’t like who will win first in the finish line. I mean, you have to present the materials slowly but sure. Make sure the audience are really paying attention to your presentation and also make sure the audience understands the whole information you’ve shared before. Don’t too worry you are running out of the time, some of presentation is not use a time limited to the presentation. Except of some presentations that have to use a time limited for example in championship and so on. But, in general there is not presentation with time limitation. So, use your time wisely and taking control to your audience.

5 )      Prepared your own appearance, make you more attractive on stage!

When you are appear in front of the public, the first impression that you have to care about is your appearance of course. Make sure you are really confident to talk in front of the public start from your hair until your shoes. On this case, you have to be speaker with attractive appearance in front of your classmates. It doesn’t need to change your school uniform with glamour and an expensive suit. Just, make sure your appearance is good looking and make the audience feel enjoy to see and listening to your presentation. The better appearance will make you more attractive in front of the class.

6 )      Make a conclusion!

A conclusion is really important in every presentation. It will help the audience easier to understand the whole information you’ve shared before. Make an attractive conclusion so the audiences will fully paying attention to your conclusion. Usually, the conclusion is consisting of several sentences which is really important on your presentation. In others words, the conclusion is some of your important points on your presentation. That’s why you have to make a good conclusion to make sure your audience understand the information on your presentation.
